Episode 79 : Lollipops and Armadillos

Happy Halloween Week!!! On today’s show Diane buys a house, Jon gets slow-rolled, and Paul and Danielle get older.

Hot topics include : a man with a 100 lb scrotum seeks money for surgery, a Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream flavor pisses off a humorless group of mothers,  an Irishman tries to turn his poo into gold (surprise, surprise…it doesn’t end well), a Texan woman is assaulted by a flying frozen armadillo, Miami bans the sale of “potheads” candy, a couple are caught having sex in a museum, and a new study shows a correlation between the amount of facebook friends one has and brain size.

Episode 78 : Family Friendly

“Really? You’re not that big.” So says Diane. You wanna know what was big? AMC’s The Walking Dead premier! And Paul and Danielle were in attendance. WARNING. We spoil the F*&K out of The Walking Dead. Later, Jon plays a voice mail from The Bear Crawling Nation Live!’s Big C. Then Jon bitches and moans about categories and Diane wears a scarf.

Hot topics include : A sex toy goes on a rampage,  a family gets lost in a corn maze, a woman calls her ex over 1,000 times and smashes his windows with a 5 foot sword (seriously), and Topeka, Kansas will once again prosecute domestic violence.

Episode 77 : Occupy * FingerBlast

Good day, my fine, fine friends. On today’s show Jon shares his 4-point plan to winning the PodCast Awards general category. Then the crew calls up friend of the show (and editor of Carve Magazine) Matthew Limpede who shares his experience at Occupy Dallas.

This week’s Hot Topics include : a study shows that oral sex may be the leading cause of throat cancer,  MD’s get cranky on whether Phd’s deserve the title, “Doctor,” a burglar’s tip to police leads to a child porn bust, an Italian man gouges out his own eyes at mass, a breast implant saves lives, and an Ex-Model who ate her husband says that she “is not a monster.”

*Special note : This recording (and all recordings) are recorded on Monday. This week City Hall announced a deadline for the Occupy Dallas demonstrators to abandon their demonstration or face possible incarceration. They were also informed that they could be raided by police who will be searching for drugs. Last night the Occupy Boston demonstrators were raided by police. We hope our friends at the Occupy Dallas movement are safe and that what happened in Boston does not happen in our city.
