Episode 54 : Can’t Talk to a Psycho

On this week’s Secretly Timid, Jon surprises the group with a photo mentioned in episode 53. Paul confesses to finally seeing Jersey Shore, and he and Jon discuss this year’s The Real World. The news topics are pretty brutal this week and include a local woman’s murder, a teenager in Oregon who committed suicide in front of an audience, and a transgendered woman’s beating in a Baltimore McDonald’s (which was posted on YouTube) which may be tried as a hate crime. In an attempt to lighten the mood, Paul attempts the answer the age-old question: Why do heavy metal chicks love sex?

Episode 53 : Trapdoor

Gelatin. On today’s show Jill, Jon, and Paul devour candy and discuss a variety of topical topics including : a 90210 landmark up for sale, Kobe Bryant fined $100k for calling a ref a gay slur live on ESPN, 6 very important things we are running out of, West Texas becoming more lonely, and the Department of Justice’s pressing the red button on online poker.

Episode 52 : Biplexual

Happy Anniversary to us! Secretly Timid turns 1 April 15th. On this week’s show Diane comes out as a biplexual, Jon is hungover, and Jill and Paul eat Easter candy. News stories includes a slut march in Canada, a man who was arrested for being naked in his home was finally cleared of charges, young men are mysteriously disappearing along the Canada/US border, and a company offers post rapture pet care. Later, Jill updates a previous twitter face-off and accepts a challenge from Jon.

Episode 51 : Boner for President!

The partisan panties fly on episode 51! Jon has a headache, Diane and Jill eat candy, and Paul takes the day off to fill out his application for Bravo’s The A-List. News stories include 3 stories involving organ donation : Comedian Ricky Cisco’s selfless donation to a Facebook friend’s husband, a recipient contracts HIV from his donor, and a follow-up to a story previously discussed involving convicted sisters. Maine Legislators introduced a bill that if passed would loosen existing child labor laws. Also, the Supreme court overturned a ruling that would award a wrongly convicted man $14 million for his 18 years (14 of which were on death row) in prison. The DA (Harry Connick Sr.) withheld evidence that would prove his innocence. Finally, Chad Gibson, a man whose skull was fractured during the Rainbow Lounge raid in 2009, was awarded $400k from the city of Fort Worth.

Later, Jill pits Big Dick Hunter against Kelly Mohr-Close (of the Pugs and Kelly Show) in this week’s twitter face-off.

Episode 50 : Sugar High

We’re 50! On today’s episode, Paul returns, Jon turns 30 and drinks Chardonnay, and Diane and Jill eat lots of candy. Hey! Look! Funorexic is now in Urban Dictionary.  Pole-Dancing for Jesus twirls up a little controversy in Texas. Over in Florida, one community is protesting in hopes of forcing one young girl with a severe allergic reaction to peanuts out of the public school system. Speaking of expulsion, Dallas Cowboy Dez Bryant gets ejected from the North Park Mall in Dallas by the fashion police.

Episode 49 : Hot Pocket

What is that sound? Why it’s the howling wind bashing against my single pane window. On today’s show (that was chock full of technical difficulties) Jill, Jon, and Diane gab about one Texas man’s new face, a gay porn company suing bit torrent thieves (what if this outs closeted teens?), and one woman’s amazing vagina. Seriously….54 bags of heroin….31 empty baggies, prescription pills AND $51.22? I think I know where we can find the lost ark, Indy. Oh, and check out this fun literal map of the world.

Episode 48 : Beware the Ides of March

On this unlucky day we have Jon and Jill in studio and Diane via the gods of the cell tower. Topics include a kidnapping case out of Parker County, the lost city of Atlantis might be found, and scammers taking advantage of last week’s tragedy in Japan. The cast also discuss comedian Gilbert Gottfried’s controversial tweets.

Episode 47 : Girls Just Wanna Have Guns

…and by girls, we mean Diane. On today’s show Jill, Diane, and Jon chit-chat about guns on campus and Sarah Palin. News topics include this super-fun caravan of doomsday peeps (hopefully you don’t have big plans for May 21st), a flight attendant getting fired for placing a toddler in the overhead compartment, students being suspended (and in one case expelled) for writing that their teacher was a pedophile rapist on Facebook, a list of “ugly/hot” actors, and Cheaters invades a game of kickball. This week’s Twitter Face Off is between Charlie Sheen and Jill’s conscience.

Episode 46 : Eat Before You Come

Chirp, chirp. Here is the lowdown on Episode 46 : Diane, Jon, and Jill talk Netflixx, sleepover etiquette, Portlandia, and Paula Dean. Diane used to be a little dribbler.

 

Breaking news includes Christina Aguilera being arrested for PI and Texas Woman’s University being under lockdown due to a “shooting threat.” Other topics of discussion include “Baby Gaga” ice cream, the identity of “Mayor Rahm” being revealed (kinda a letdown), a Voodoo sex ceremony causes a fatal fire, the Cragslist Congressman’s other searches, Anonymous hacking the shit out of Westboro Baptist Church, and an anti-gay pastor caught tugging his turkey in a park while children were present.

It is Kim Kardashian Vs. Paris Hiltion on this week’s Twitter Face-Off. Which vixen ends up on top?
